1) Write a food journal – write down everything you eat and drink and what you felt emotionally just before and after what you consumed. This will start bringing into consciousness how much you eat and drink and any problem patterns you have. Complete your journal daily until you reach your target weight.
2) Read at least 2 books on how to eat e.g. Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution and Dr D’Adamo Eat Right for Your Type. Start educating yourself on how you can eat for you – you will know what is right for you!
3) Make sure you do some exercise every day. If you are doing nothing right now take a 30 minute walk every day, 1 hour at weekends. Makes sure it gets your heart rate up a bit – no strolling!
